I thought this day seemed far away. But now that it’s here, I can’t believe it.

For the first time in my life, I’ve paid my biggest purchase in FULL. The company even sent me a letter saying this was my final car payment. I made a commitment and stuck with it.

What a feeling!

I remember the day I bought the car and took out a loan. It was Memorial Day weekend.

At first, I wasn’t even sure if any car dealership was gonna give me a car. I went to several dealerships. All the payments were way out of my budget. But I refused to have a co-signer.

I am very fortunate that a special person offered to go car shopping with me. I was so excited to eventually drive off the lot with a brand new car. I was so excited, I didn’t even realize the door locks were manual. Haha!

What I’m experiencing feels surreal. Almost as if I am dreaming. But I’m not. Instead of dreaming, one of my DREAMS came true. I, now, own my car. And I feel fabulous.
