I was once told that we all have a genie. She/he grants our wishes but we are often indecisive and cause much confusion. Like a restaurant waitress, our “orders” are taken, but after it reaches the cook, we change our order. 

I’ve been placing my orders (sometimes unconsciously), and I’ve been getting what I want. This “to think is to create” concept is crazy true. But after eating what I ordered, I realized it wasn’t the best meal.

I’m human. Sometimes I learn by trial and error. Sometimes the best teachers are my mistakes. 

The amazing thing about confusing my genie is that it’s bringing me clarity. As odd as that sounds. 

With each decision I make, I am more in alignment with myself. I learn a little bit more about my true self and what my heart wants. Best of all, God’s always got my back no matter which path I choose.
