Manifesting Bliss

I’m back…! And for a good reason. I just had to blog about this morning’s dopamine-filled moment of abundant blessings. 💜🙏🏼

But before we get to the good stuff, let’s rewind to last week.

It was as if I was living a chapter out of a book.

Chapter 1: Foreshadowing

As I strolled through the grocery store aisle, I gazed at the magazines sitting on the shelves.

Are there anymore magazines featuring BTS on the cover? I casually wondered and smiled.

Nope. None that I saw.

Little did I know, God was planting a seed. Trying to send me a message that I wasn’t quite aware of yet:

A little over a week prior, on April 16, Entertainment Weekly came out with a 96-page collector’s edition, featuring worldwide superstars BTS.

But such knowledge was unbeknownst to me.

Chapter 2: Today

It started off as a lazy Sunday morning scrolling through the news headlines.

Covid. Covid. Covid. Not much had changed overnight.

But as I scrolled farther down Apple News, this picture caught my attention.

These headlines made me sit up:

* Fans Know V (Kim Taehyung) by His Buttery-Smooth Baritone Voice, His Charisma and Authenticity

* How BTS Moved From an Underdog Band to the Global Influence Who Redefined K-Pop

But none of these links would work for me. They were part of the Apple News+ paid subscriber-based content.

That’s when my mind started to connect the earlier clues. Maybe I can go back to the magazine aisle and find a copy?

I had faith. I had a list of stores that I could check out. I washed my face, got dressed and was out the door.

Chapter 3: Piecing the Clues Together

Having faith, I decided to stop at the store with the large magazine aisle first. God had to be foreshadowing what was to come, right?

Back in the aisle, I searched. I saw another Entertainment Weekly edition that was scheduled to be on shelves until 5/7/21. But BTS wasn’t on the cover.

Determined, I kept looking. C’mon. Where’s the bright blue cover? It’s gotta be here, right? Or maybe the new issues didn’t arrive yet?

I scanned the shelves again. I didn’t want to give up. It’s gotta be here, I thought.

Just as I was about to leave and look for an employee to see if they had the new issues in the back, I saw it.

Bottom righthand corner next to the driver’s manuals and puzzles.

Entertainment Weekly BTS

It was out of place and not with the rest of the entertainment and music magazines. Perhaps “hidden” just for me, so it wouldn’t be sold out by the time I got there in May.

I was ecstatic. I was beaming with joy. I wanted to shout “HALLELUJAH!” in the store. Praise the Lord!

I couldn’t believe it. The first store I went to, I hit the JACKPOT!

There were 10 copies that I could choose from. And thank GOD, because half of the magazines had a printing error on the cover (a red dot was on V’s face). Oh, the horror!

V Taehyung

With God, all things are possible. I’m learning to listen and watch for the messages that God sends to me. No matter how big or small. Sometimes I don’t always pay attention to the signs, but when I do pause and listen, it pays off.

Bliss manifested right before my eyes. Had I been closed off, I probably would’ve missed the magazines on the bottom shelf.
