In Alignment

We often take our vehicles in for an alignment check. The service technicians realign our wheels, rotate our tires and we drive off on our merry little way.

According to Wikipedia, “The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tire wear, and to ensure that vehicle travel is straight and true.”

When do we make an appointment to have ourselves aligned?

A few weeks ago, I had a chance to realign myself. It’s amazing what a difference it can make.

Living a life of alignment is one of the most rewarding feelings I’ve ever experienced. My intentions are clear. My heart knows what it wants and the kind of life I want to live. I realize that at times, I go with the flow of what other people want. When in reality, I don’t really want that or them.

Being in alignment with myself requires listening to my inner voice. It’s about taking care of my health, the positive/negative thoughts that enter my mind and just “being.” It’s about setting boundaries at work and in relationships, knowing where I stand and what I believe in. It’s life without the bullshit and taking off the masks I hide behind. It’s about being true to my heart.
